“The Beacon is anything but “business as usual”. We are a representation of the actualization of an ideological shift, from cutthroat capitalism and psychosomatic\ impulsive overconsumption, to being fully engaged in mindful, intentional, and meaningful principled purchasing

We aim to be an impactful agitator and disruptive divergent agent, aiding as a catalyst in the transition and ending of the sick cycle of mindless consumerism to conscientiously cultivating and curating an "in-kind culture" that fosters socially sustainable communal connectivity of goods, services, and communities. 

The Beacon is a B.O.B. Entity and “Conduit for Creatives”. We help creatives to reach conscientious consumers. We want patrons to purchase from us and support our businesses\ business model, because of who we are and what we represent. We are for the betterment of Black Business (and business in general) and Black Comm-Unities (as well as communities in general). We aim to exemplify excellence, integrity, ingenuity and innovation. 

This concept begins first, foremost and fundamentally at the foundation, the root.  We first had to beg the question, What is a “brand” and what does that idea\ concept mean\ represent? 

Secondly, we had to ask, What type of spirit\ energy\ essence does that idea and conceptualization exude? In answering that question honestly, we had to turn to the history of "branding" and the roots of capitalism in America.

Historically, branding was used as a method of showing ownership. Cattle were branded, then people were branded and treated as cattle (chattel \ slavery). The enslaved Blacks were the first to be made into products for the "stock market", put on stocks and held in bondage, bought, sold, and labor stolen.

With this understanding in mind, many people are unknowingly "blind brand amb-ass-adors" and "slaves to corrupt corporations". The Beacon and its affiliates are in direct contrast with this concept and our intent is to completely shift this paradigm. Every dollar you spend with The Beacon, a percentage of the proceeds goes to Artists, Creators, Entrepreneurs and Grassroots Organizers, who actually appreciate your patronage and are dedicated to working in areas of social justice and overall human, planetary and cosmic elevation, evolution and alignment.

We are the anti-brand and with that, we are spearheading the “Unbranding” Initiative. Our Creative Cultivating Organ-ization is not developing a “Brand”, we are creating “Beacons”. Our logo is a lighthouse, whose purpose is to guide vessels on their journeys through darkness, lighting the way
